We are putting in upholstered van ceiling panels because it helps with insulation because there is an extra layer of fabric and wood to keep in heat or keep in the cool. Upholstering the van will also help with sound denting so that there is a layer to absorb the sound. The final reason we are upholstering the van is because it hides wires and raw metal and it will provide a good look for the van. You can also use these steps of upholstering for many other projects.
How to upholster van ceiling panels. Before you get to work upholster the ceiling panels you will need to collect some materials such as spray glue, a wood panel, paper to keep your tables clean, knife, air compressor and staple gun, and a foam sheet.

Step 1, lay down the paper to keep your tables clean and then lay out the piece of wood on the table and get measurements and then lay out a slightly bigger piece of foam on another table.
We are doing this same process for four panels in total and then we will install them in to the van with the puck lights.
